a reason to not be resentful
Fishing at dawn.
That’s what my husband and daughter
planned for today.
Wish you could come!
my husband said.
Yeah, me too.
It’s the 3rd time they’ve been
fishing without me this summer.
Because I’m 3000 miles away
taking care of my mother.
Sometimes I’m resentful.
But, not today.
Because I have my own
gorgeous sunrise.
And, I’m savoring it.
