the problem getting drugs
I have a real problem with the difficulty in obtaining painkillers for those who need it.โฃ

My mom takes morphine โฃ
a couple times a day for her โฃ
nerve damage from lupus.โฃ

She has to have the morphine!โฃ

๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐โฃ
she has to physicallyโฃ
go to the doctor โฃ
every 30 daysโฃ
and do occasional drug testsโฃ
to get the written prescription.โฃ

๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐น๐ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐น๐โฃ
for an 82 year old who has suchโฃ
pain in her legs and feetโฃ
she can barely walkโฃ
and can barely see.โฃ

Then, sometimes the pharmacyโฃ
doesn’t carry the morphineโฃ
and she has to search the city.โฃ
โฃ
And, she can’t pick it up untilโฃ
the exact day the previous Rxโฃ
ran out.โฃ

She doesn’t drive either.โฃ
โฃ
